At The End of The Day: Watch the live theatre show, listen to the radio show, and catch up with the online comedy sketches below the info / pics here.

At The End of The Day began life in 2009 as a short form stage show premiered at JB Shorts – very quickly proving that comedy writer actor James Quinn’s life had indeed not been entirely wasted watching wall to wall sports. (see the original show below)

With a joyously funny northern comedy line up,  the show was taken on by Savvy Productions in 2010, and by 2011 the show had a transfer deal on the table and was extended cross platform on the BBC.

We delighted BBC 5 Live audiences  - live from the Neptune – Epstein Theatre in Liverpool for a Grand National Special on The Colin Murray Show.  At The End of the Day was the first scripted comedy on 5Live and, despite the fact that audiences had no idea what to expect, well, within a couple of minutes we certainly tickled their funny bone.  This also gave us the chance to prove an exciting addition to the format:  with special guest input – on this occasion  grand national winners, presenters and footballers all took a turn: Colin Murray, Pat Nevin, Mick Fitzgerald, Perry Groves.

We filmed  new Sketches for  BBC online comedy – for the  Grand National  - in a green screen studio and on location, and engaged talented designers to create a sports studio
